I met this man in my studio in Portsmouth NH. He was a sometime construction worker and lived a nomad life picking up jobs when necessary. He was very quiet and shy. At first he didn’t wane to draw him, but I persisted and a drawing evolved that I felt reflected his spirit. He was also a vet. There was so much to his story I knew I would never know, but I wanted to document as much of that story as I could.
